The dream of Bombay Sweet Centre was born in Jeet & Neelams kitchen.
Bombay Sweet Centre & Curry House is located in the heart of Nottingham and has been providing authentic Punjabi cuisine since 1995.
We have come a long way since we first opened, tailoring and perfecting family recipes to provide a traditional Indian taste to our customers. High demand has pushed us into events, where we have successfully catered for corporate and social functions.
As a team, our expertise and passion is food. We want to share both our old and new recipes with you so you can experience the delight of traditional Indian home cooked food, bursting with flavour. Our focus is our customers and clients; we aim to cater to your needs (and taste buds) at affordable prices!
You can select a menu from our website, or if you prefer to get creative then we can design a tailored menu just for you.
It is important to us that our ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, as we want to support local businesses in the current economic climate.
Our results are fresh, mouth-watering dishes packed with vibrant flavours and colours which results in customers hungry for more!
Local & Fresh
Established since 1995, Bombay Sweet Centre was founded by husband and wife, Jeet & Neelam Passan.
With limited culinary experience, the couple set out to successfully share their family recipes which had been passed down through generations. The sheer determination, hard work and passion meant that Jeet & Neelam were able to establish Bombay Sweet Centre in the heart of the city; as Nottingham’s only Punjabi sweet centre.
Specialising in Punjabi cuisine, Bombay Sweet Centre still has a huge demand today for snacks such as the vegetable samosa and vegetable pakora. Using some of the exact recipes from over 20 years ago, the longevity of these dishes is apparent with those such as Punjabi Kaddi and Lamb Karahi still being well sought after. And not forgetting, Bombay’s secret chutney sauce which is a favourite with all customers.
Jeet & Neelam’s son, Rahul, has now started his ever-evolving journey in maintaining this traditional Punjabi sweet centre and curry house, alongside incorporating new and innovative ideas. As Bombay Sweet Centre continues to progress, we will always strive to uphold efforts in keeping smiles on customers’ faces and serving great Indian food.
